You may have been hurrying to get somewhere and didn’t notice the automatic locking feature that is on your car for safety reasons. The automatic lock is a feature of your car that allows you to lock your doors without having to manually lock them. Get into your car.

The best way to go around this is to lock the door with the switch on the inside of the door, that should override your setting and allow you to have control over locking and unlocking your car as you wish.
If you still don’t have full control after doing this, try using the switch on the outside of the door for further removal of settings.
